MICHAEL J. WALL

Mr. Wall completed his undergraduate and legal studies at Vanderbilt University. In his last year of law school, he won the Nathan Burkan Memorial Prize for the best seminar paper on copyright. He joined the firm in 2005 and practices mainly in the areas of labor & employment and complex commercial litigation.

Recently, Mr. Wall obtained a reversal and summary judgement in the case of In re: Petty, 538 F.3d 431 (6th Cir. 2008), cert. denied, 129 S. Ct. 1933 (2009). This decision clarifies and upholds veterans' rights under the Uniformed Services Employment and Reemployment Rights Act of 1994.

Mr. Wall speaks Spanish and some German and is a committee member for Sister Cities of Nashville. His wife Julie is a graduate of Vanderbilt Divinity School, and the two have a baby boy named Henry.
