JAMES G. STRANCH, III
Member
James G. Stranch, III concentrates his practice in the area of Labor and Employment, representing Labor organizations and individuals for over 30 years; in the area of ERISA representing pension and health plans for over 30 years and individuals, including 401(k)/ESOP litigation on behalf of plan participants; securities litigation; and complex litigation, including anti-trust class action litigation. In the past, Mr. Stranch has had a general litigation practice that included both personal injury work and medical malpractice defense. He was a secretary of the Tennessee Appellate Court Nominating Committee from 1985-1991. He was a member of the AFL-CIO Lawyer's Coordinating Advisory Committee. Mr. Stranch is a past Chairman of Tennessee Bar Association's Labor Law Section, 1991-1991. He is a fellow of the Nashville Bar Foundation. Mr. Stranch is a member of the Nashville Bar Association, American Bar Association, Tennessee Trial Lawyer's Association and the American Trial Lawyer's Association. Mr. Stranch is married to Jane Branstetter Stranch and they have four children.
