Mr. Stewart joined the firm in 2009. He practices in both the complex and general litigation areas. Mr. Stewart received his undergraduate degree from the University of Pennsylvania in 1987 and his law degree, cum laude, from the University of Tennessee in 1994. In law school, Mr. Stewart was a member of the National Moot Court Team and was a Student Materials Editor for the Tennessee Law Review. From 1994 to 2008, Mr. Stewart practiced at the law firm of Waller Lansden Dortch and Davis, where he developed a litigation and tax practice and was elected Member in 2002. He was listed in Best Lawyers in America in 2008. Between 1988 and 1992, Mr. Stewart was an Intelligence Officer in the United States Army, with service in Korea and Saudi Arabia. Mr. Stewart was elected to the Tennessee House of Representatives in 2008. He lives in East Nashville with his wife, Ruth, and children, Will, Joseph and Eve.
