ROBERT E. RICHARDSON, JR.

Robert E. Richardson, Jr. serves as of counsel with the law firm of Branstetter, Stranch & Jennings, and is also currently affiliated with the Laborers' International Union of North America in Ohio. Mr. Richardson's practice areas include labor and employment, products liability litigation, and general litigation.

Mr. Richardson received both his BSE in electrical engineering and his J.D. from the University of Cincinnati. While at the University of Cincinnati he established the first college chapter of the NAACP in the Tri-state and was elected Student Body President in the spring of 2001. In 2002, Mr. Richardson was awarded the Presidential Leadership Medal of Excellence.

In January of 2008, Mr. Richardson made history at the age of 29 when Governor Strickland appointed him as the youngest person to ever serve on Board of Trustees at the University of Cincinnati. Mr. Richardson currently serves on several other boards, which include the Cincinnati Branch of the NAACP, the Central Park YMCA, the Cincinnati Park Board, the Hamilton Democratic Executive Board, and the Lawyers Coordinating Committee for the AFL-CIO.
